Update on Madison!

So some great news!! There was at least one student who asked Jesus to be their savior for the first time tonight!  When the gospel was presented six of the students raised their hands saying that they had prayed to receive Christ for the first time in their lives.  I was not involved in the counseling that followed, but God is good.  Also, the numbers keep going up!! To recap on Monday we had 7 students then Tuesday we had 12 students, and then tonight we had 16 students!! Eight of those students come from Russian homes.  There is a large group of Russian believers in Sacramento who came to know Christ in Russia behind the iron curtain and then traveled here when the curtain fell.  Madison Avenue Baptist Church shares its building with a Russian church and a Filipino Church.  It is beautiful to see the unity created in Christ.  God is using the willingness of this small church to change the world!
